EVERGREEN UNION CEMETERY
The Bridge Street property was purchased on January 18, 1865 from James Emmitt and wife. Additional Bridge Street property was purchased on July 10, 1894 from the Emmitt Estate.

The property at Denver Road was purchased in 1982 from Florence Way.
Prior to the Bridge Street cemetery, an older cemetery was located on South Market Streets where the Waverly Fire and Police Departments are currently located.
